I will endeavour to get the results updated at some point – will also have a look myself tomorrow and see if anything jumps out.
Wolverhampton – 2.50
Peace In Our Time has been hitting the woodwork a lot lately and today’s longer trip could well be the boost he needs to finally get his head in front today.
Peace In Our Time – 1pt Win @ 5/2 (Bet365 – *BOG)
Lingfield – 3.10
Be Perfect was only 1/2 length off the pace in a listed race LTO and a repeat of that form will take all the beating today. He likes to lead from the front so should be capable of holding of any late strikes in lesser company today.
Be Perfect – 1pt Win @ 11/4 (Paddy Power – *BOG)
Leopardstown – 3.20
In such a large field, anything can happen so nothing can be ruled out. There is plenty of value in backing the in-form King Of Queens who has a 10lb rise in the weights to contend with, but for whom any slight improvement on his last performance could see him winning again. He was reluctant to line up that day but then went on to make all so the application of cheek pieces may bring about the improvement needed?!
King Of Queens – 1 pt E/W @ 12/1 (Bet365 – *BOG – Paying out on 5 places)
Cheltenham – 3.35
This should be a straight shootout between Oscar Whisky and Reve de Sivola, which gives anyone following these tips prior warning to back the opposite to my selection (still bitter about a couple this week). Whilst there’s no doubting the quality of Oscar Whisky, there is certainly doubt over his ability to last 3m. His only attempt at the distance was well below par and although he is unbeaten since, the ‘what if’ is too big to risk…. Therefore Reve de Sivola gets the nod. His comfortable and impressive victory LTO is enough to sway my vote sufficiently, and with confidence.
Reve de Sivola – 1pt Win @ 5/2 (Paddy Power – *BOG)
