Disappointing that despite having 2 system bets in the 2.50 at Yarmouth yesterday neither managed to win, the 2/9 shot did at least keep up the good record of odds on shots winning. Today we have another mixed bag – all three races are priced up at the minute with previous system winner Camberley Two at 4/7 not really a betting proposition and in fact carrying the most weight on his back since his run started he could potentially up in class slip up, that’s the system though have to back them even if you think their potential lay material. I’d probably wait and see if the 4/7 drifts as I do think he is too short at present. The other two are much nicer prices at 5/1 and 20/1. Figaro is unexposed and his maiden form looks decent, whilst Mirza has won twice off a mark of 82 and is now down 2 grades having run in competitive heats of late, not been running badly and 20/1 is big in my opinion. Ran well in this race last year.
