First off wanted to point any readers in the direction of a couple of blogs which have been in terrific form, firstly Mark from www.patientspeculation.blogspot.com I’ve talked about this site previously but I really like Mark’s selection process and from his last 6 selections he’s returned an 8/1, 9/1 and 10/1 winner, so if you’ve not seen his blog then please do take a look. Also I wanted to highlight becherbrook.blogspot.com one of the newer blogs which I’ve recently added to the links, Robert who writes the blog has nailed in some excellent winners over the weekend including Five Star Wilsham @ 10/1, Bold Sir Brian @ 22/1 and then yesterday Another Dimension @ 66/1. All free and all worth looking at ….
A number of selections for the systems today – to understand the relevant systems and colour coding see the Systems tab. Yesterday drew another blank for the Trainer Jockey system which already looks doomed to the recycle bin, however I’m going to monitor for a month minimum, nice winner for the Trainer One Runner system with Mauricetheathlete up at Sedgefield, the same combination have Ikorodu Road today, whilst AP managed to get one of his short price horses home in front typically. A reminder with the AP system only horses at less than 3.5 on Betfair would qualify as lays. Still need to go through the past month’s prices. The likely AP hotpots are in yellow below.
- 2.10 Frequency – M Wigham
- 3.15 Mini Bon Bon – A Bailey
- Newton Abbot
- 3.40 Ikorodu Road – M Keighley
- 3.40 Ace High – V Dartnall/D O’Regan
- 4.15 Round The Horn – J Old/J Maguire
- Ffos Las
- 2.20 Timesawastin
- 3.25 Award Winner – B Powell/A McCoy
- 5.40 Speed Master
Lastly the death of Eric’s Charm at the weekend was another horrible blow to go along with what seems an endless list of horses who have passed away recently, many exceptional ones – Tell Massini, Twist Magic, Pride Of Dulcote, Peveril, Kilmurry, Joe Lively, Money Trix, Glencove Marina and sadly many more this season. RIP Eric’s Charm.
Best of luck today.
